The Millburn Orthodontics team is here to make sure every appointment is relaxing and enjoyable for you and your family. Our staff is a highly trained, experienced group of talented individuals, and we love what we do! We attend trainings to stay current on the most advanced orthodontic treatments to ensure your family receives the most efficient and comfortable treatment available.
Our office administrators will be the first to meet and greet you, introducing you to our practice and helping you with any financial or insurance questions you may have. They also keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, and help make sure you are never kept waiting for your appointment.
Our clinical staff helps Dr. Caplan take care of your smile, making it beautiful, healthy, and functioning perfectly. We love seeing our patients throughout the orthodontic treatment process because we enjoy getting to know each person individually.
Of course, the most important member of our team is you! You and your family make our practice a wonderful place to work, and we are grateful for all the things our patients teach us on a daily basis. Please come in and join our community, and let us make you smile!
Clinical Assistant/ RDA
With many years of experience as an assistant in other practices, I joined Dr. Caplan in 2000 and am proud to be a member of the Millburn Orthodontics team. We’re all dedicated to helping patients achieve ideal smiles, and we work together to meet our patients’ smile goals. I’ve been married for 33 years and have two wonderful children. I love to quilt and do handwork, and when the weather permits, my husband and I love riding our Harley.
Clinical Assistant/ RDH - Lab Technician
I began my dental career as an assistant in 1980, and joined Dr. Caplan’s team in 1998. I took some time off to be with my family, and I’m so happy to be back! I love seeing the smiles on our patients’ faces when their braces finally come off. When I’m not at work, I take care of my family, including my husband, Solomon, and my daughter, Abigail. She has braces now, so I make sure she wears her elastics and brushes her teeth like she’s supposed to! In my free time, I enjoy working in my garden and figuring out Sudoku puzzles.
Clinical Assistant/ RDA
I started working as a dental assistant in orthodontics in 1998. Now, as a part of Dr. Caplan’s team, I enjoy interacting with our patients and helping each person feel comfortable and at ease when they come to our office. I have three sons who are very athletic, so they keep me pretty busy and updated on the latest news in the sports industry. This comes in handy, as many of our patients are gifted in sports, in addition to academics and other extra-curricular activities. I’m very proud to deliver such high-quality care here at Millburn Orthodontics.
Front Desk Coordinator
I began working with Dr. Caplan in 2001, and help patients submit their insurance claims, make appointments, and provide information to patients regarding their orthodontic treatment. I really enjoy interacting with our patients and their families throughout the day, and I find that I learn something new about them at each visit. As a full-time working mom, most of my time outside the office is spent with my family. I love outdoor activities, especially going to the shore.
Front Desk Coordinator
For over 13 years, I’ve been one of the friendly faces that greets our patients when they come into the office. From the front desk, I’m able to assist them with all their scheduling needs, as well as insurance claim submissions. I love getting to know our patients and their families, and watching as beautiful smiles are created through orthodontic treatment. I graduated from William Paterson University with a double major in psychology and anthropology. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies and TV, traveling, and spending time with my family, friends, and cats.
I work with Dr. Caplan as an assistant, helping with many aspects of our patients’ care. Each person we treat is so unique, and we make sure to make their orthodontic experience unique as well! I really enjoy watching as our patients progress through treatment, and we all look forward to the day their braces come off. I love to play sports, though I’m not really good at any of them! Currently, I’m going back to school after six years to finally finish my undergraduate degree!
Currently, I work as a sterilization tech, and my duties include taking X-rays, impressions, and photos, and assisting when needed. I’m also training to become a records technician, and I look forward to being able to be even more involved in our patients’ treatment. Everyone here is so knowledgeable, and I learn something new about orthodontics every day! I’m a Mets and Knicks fan, so I love talking to our patients about what sports they’re interested in. In my free time, I enjoy running and outdoor activities like hiking and going to the park with my three-year-old.
